Citizens Against Substance Abuse or CASA is the Local Coordinating Council for a drug-free Dearborn County, Indiana. Dearborn County Citizens Against Substance Abuse is an organization through which the community can identify, plan, and implement efforts to address the problems of substance abuse and dependency. Stayin’ Alive is the Local Coordinating Council for Franklin County, Indiana; promoting a safer and healthier community by reducing the problematic use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. Wraparound services are a way to improve the lives of families and children with complex needs. Wraparound services are a strengths-based team partnership between families and community resources and services to best help provide the necessary support and meet the complex needs of their children. If eligible, families can choose Wraparound services through Choices Coordinated Care Solutions or INcompass Healthcare.
Choices Coordinated Care Solutions helps families caring for youth with significant emotional and behavioral health needs. Children’s Mental Health Initiative (CMHI) and the Children’s Mental Health Wraparound (CMHW) uses the wraparound process to coordinate care for youth who demonstrate high levels of emotional need with challenges related to disabilities including autism, trauma, substance use, and mental health disorders. Stride Crisis Centers are a community of caring professionals and partners dedicated to providing crisis services to individuals aged 18 and older. With three locations available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, Centerstone is able to offer immediate, same-day assistance for those experiencing mental health or substance use crises across Indiana. Whether you or a loved one are in need, or you’re a first responder, social worker, or concerned community member, the Stride Crisis Center is here to help.
In addition to their center-based services, they offer mobile crisis intervention, bringing trained professionals directly to individuals in need. This allows Centerstone to provide immediate support in the community, further ensuring that people can access the help they need in a timely manner. Columbus Behavioral Center, located in Columbus, Indiana and serving those in and out of state, offers a 4-6 week-long, mental health intensive outpatient program (IOP) for youth ages 12-18 with depression, mood instability, anxiety, trauma, suicidal ideation, and/or self-harming behaviors. Youth learn emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and how to have healthier relationships. No-cost assessments can be completed virtually or in person. Columbus Behavioral Center is accepting referrals and offers medication management services on site. Youth participate in IOP for 3 hours per day, 3 days per week. Youth can attend virtually or in person. Transportation assistance may be available if the youth lives in Bartholomew County or a surrounding county. Columbus Behavioral Center accepts Medicaid, Tricare, and all major insurance options. Referrals can be made by calling (812) 565-9323 or by emailing: ColumbusIOPIntake@uhsinc.com.
Columbus Behavioral Center’s residential program offers residential treatment for youth ages 8-17 with depression, mood instability, severe anxiety, trauma, suicidal ideation, and/or self-harming behaviors. The program is for youth with an IQ above 70 who have had 2 acute stays in the past 6 months and have attempted outpatient services without the desired outcome. Columbus Behavioral Center accepts Medicaid, Tricare, and all major insurance options. The number for residential treatment is: (812) 376-1711.

The Youth Encouragement Services (YES) Home is a residential group home for youths ages 10-20, providing a structured, nurturing environment for abused, neglected, and abandoned children.
