In every community, access to support services can be the difference between stability and struggle. For many individuals and families in Southeast Indiana, navigating the complex network of social services, recovery resources, and behavioral health supports can feel overwhelming. That’s where Dearborn County CARE’s CARE Resource Connection steps in—a welcoming, collaborative space designed to meet people where they are and connect them to what they need.
Located at 132 Industrial Drive in Lawrenceburg, the CARE Resource Connection is a newly renovated, community-driven resource hub that brings together multiple service organizations under one roof. This one-stop connection point helps reduce transportation barriers, increase accessibility, and make it easier for individuals and families to find support—all in one location.
A Vision Brought to Life Through Partnership
The CARE Resource Connection was made possible thanks to funding from the Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addiction, state and local opioid settlement dollars, the City of Lawrenceburg, and the Dearborn Community Foundation. Coordinated by One Community One Family, with oversight from a dedicated CARE Steering Committee and building support from INcompass Healthcare, the project was created to fill a vital gap in the community’s continuum of care.
Together, this cross-sector partnership has transformed a single building into a powerful example of what’s possible when organizations collaborate to serve the public good.

Who You’ll Find at the CARE Resource Connection
Today, the CARE Resource Connection is home to several trusted partner organizations offering a wide range of services:
1Voice: Peer recovery coaches and resource navigators offer a welcoming first point of contact for anyone entering the building.
Safe Passage, Inc.: Provides support for individuals experiencing domestic violence or sexual assault.
Hello New Beginnings: Offers personalized life and sobriety coaching services.
INcompass Healthcare: Provides housing and employment services through its Housing Program and CASE (Community Assisted Supported Employment) program.
Choices Coordinated Care Solutions: Offers the CERT program for substance use recovery support, Family Preservation services, and Multisystemic Therapy (MST).
Rock Solid Families: Provides faith-based family coaching and support.
Each organization within the building serves a unique purpose—but together, they provide a safety net for people seeking support with housing, employment, mental health, substance use, recovery, and more.

What Makes This Space Special
The CARE Resource Connection is designed with collaboration in mind. It features:
Private office spaces for service providers
Large conference rooms for meetings and trainings
Respite areas for clients and families
Reliable Wi-Fi and shared kitchens/break areas
On-site peer recovery and resource navigation support
By working side-by-side, organizations can better coordinate services, make referrals, and support clients holistically. In addition to increased visibility and referrals (including an average of 50 individuals per month from the local jail’s IRACS program), tenants also benefit from cross-agency partnerships and shared access to community resources and CARE initiatives.

A Place to Grow With the Community
As the CARE Resource Connection continues to grow, more services will be added—potentially including emergency food access through The Clearinghouse, adult education and HSE opportunities, and healthcare/insurance navigation support. The goal is to remain responsive to community needs while offering high-quality, person-centered care.
And there’s still room to grow: Two large, multi-desk office spaces are currently available for rent. Prospective tenants are asked to commit to being onsite at least three days per week to maintain a vibrant, accessible space for the community. Rent has been intentionally kept affordable:
Multi-Desk Office: Year 1 - $300 | Year 2 - $400 | Year 3 - $600
Priority is given to organizations providing direct services to community members, and the CARE Steering Committee continues to pursue funding that may lower rental costs over time.
